For the people who keep saying "I'm fine"...

even though you're carrying far more than anyone realises.

You might be the one everyone relies on. The one who keeps showing up, putting everyone else first, and saying, “I’m fine,” even when part of you knows you’re not.

The world often tells us to stay strong, keep busy, and push through. But strength doesn’t have to mean carrying everything on your own.

Whether you’re carrying anxiety, trauma, grief, the challenges of motherhood, a major life change, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately, you don’t have to do it alone.

Therapy offers a space where you don't have to pretend you're okay. A space to slow down, feel heard without judgement, and gently make sense of what's been weighing you down.

Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you process difficult experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move towards a life where "I'm fine" no longer has to be something you simply say, it can become something you genuinely feel.

Support is available through ongoing counselling, EMDR therapy, or focused EMDR Intensive Therapy Packages, depending on what feels right for you and where you are in your journey

You don't have to keep holding it all together.

Welcome, I’m Kate

I’m a Clinical Counsellor (PACFA registered), Accredited EMDR Practitioner (EMDRAA), and Victims of Crime Counsellor based on the Central Coast of NSW.

I support men, women and young people (12+) who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and the experiences that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unlike ourselves.

My approach is warm, compassionate and evidence-based. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, understood without judgement, and supported at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe meaningful change begins when we feel truly heard and supported. Together, we’ll work to make sense of what you’ve been carrying, develop tools to support your wellbeing, and help you reconnect with yourself.

I offer in-person appointments from the Central Coast NSW and Telehealth appointments Australia-wide.

If you're feeling nervous, uncertain, or wondering whether counselling is right for you, that's completely okay. You don't have to have the right words or have everything figured out before you begin.

Appointments are available in person at The Coastal Wellness Cottage in East Gosford (Central Coast), online via Telehealth, or over the phone. Simply use the booking link below to find a time that suits you.
