3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours notice so that your appointment time can be offered to someone else.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments, may incur the full session fee.

4. Running Late
If you’re running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I’ll do my best to accommodate you, but sessions will still need to finish at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s appointment.

5. Confidentiality
Your privacy is very important to me. Everything discussed in your session is confidential, except in situations where I am legally or ethically required to share information, for example, if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. More information can be found in my Privacy Policy. I will also discuss these parameters with you when we meet.

6. Online Sessions
If your session is online, please ensure you’re in a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable to talk freely. A stable internet connection helps us make the most of our time together. The same confidentiality and cancellation policies apply to online sessions.

7. Emergencies and Crisis Support
Counselling sessions are not suitable for crisis situations. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact Emergency Services on 000, Lifeline on 13 11 14 (Australia), or go to your nearest emergency department.

8. Professional Boundaries
Our relationship is a professional one designed to support your wellbeing. Contact outside of sessions is limited to administrative matters, such as booking changes or resource sharing related to your therapy.

9. Agreement
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you’ve read and understood these terms, and agree to them. These guidelines help create a safe, respectful, and supportive space for your counselling journey.
