EMDR Intensive Therapy
When one hour a week doesn't feel like enough.
Designed for people who want focused, supported therapy to help process trauma, anxiety, or overwhelming experiences in a more contained and immersive way.
If you’ve been carrying trauma, anxiety, or overwhelming experiences for longer than you’d like, an EMDR Intensive Therapy Package offers the depth, focus, and uninterrupted time needed to support meaningful change.
Instead of spreading therapy over months, this structured format allows you to work through what’s been weighing you down across a small number of highly supported sessions.
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a gentle, structured therapy that helps your brain process experiences that feel “stuck”, whether they’re big or small, recent or from the past. When memories or emotions remain unprocessed, they can show up as anxiety, overwhelm, flashbacks, or emotional patterns that feel hard to shift.
Through guided eye movements, tapping, or sound, EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they feel less distressing over time.
EMDR does not erase memories, it helps you integrate them so they no longer feel as overwhelming or disruptive in daily life
EMDR Intensive Therapy Package
An EMDR Intensive is a focused and personalised block of therapy delivered across two weeks. It creates dedicated time and space to work on a specific memory, experience, trigger or pattern that continues to feel stuck.
Rather than stopping just as you're settling into the process, an intensive allows us to stay connected to the work and build momentum without the longer gaps that can occur between weekly sessions.
Using EMDR alongside grounding, resourcing and nervous system regulation strategies, the work is carefully paced and tailored to your needs, helping you feel supported throughout the process.
Many clients appreciate having dedicated time to focus on their healing and often describe experiencing a greater sense of clarity, understanding and emotional movement by the end of the process.
Many people who enquire about EMDR Intensives have experienced childhood trauma, difficult relationships, attachment wounds or prolonged stress.
Kate runs EMDR Intensives on the Central Coast NSW and online across Australia.
Why choose an Intensive?
EMDR Intensives offer a different way of engaging in therapy, with dedicated time and continuity of care.
They may be helpful if you:
Want to work more deeply on a specific issue
Feel therapy often loses momentum between sessions
Are time-poor but motivated for change
Are preparing for or moving through a life transition
Want structured, focused support
Rather than being spread over months, the work is contained, supported, and immersive.
What to expect during an Intensive?
Your intensive is carefully structured and paced:
A personalised plan tailored to your needs
EMDR sessions delivered gently and intentionally
Breaks, grounding, and resourcing throughout
Integration of insights between sessions
A follow-up session to consolidate progress
The process is immersive but always calm, contained, and client led.
You are never rushed, the pace is guided by your nervous system and readiness.

Everyone's experience is unique. Some people notice changes during or shortly after their intensive, while others experience more gradual improvements over the following days and weeks as their brain continues to process the work completed. Depending on your goals, some people find one intensive is enough, while others choose to continue with additional sessions or ongoing therapy.
